The article analyzes the construction of female criminality in the media, focusing on the case of Suzane von Richthofen, who shook Brazil in 2002 when she killed her parents with the help of her boyfriend and brother-in-law. The research examines the news coverage in media outlets such as Folha de São Paulo and Correio Braziliense, highlighting the gender stereotypes present in the narratives about Suzane. The media portrayed her as a “bad blonde” and a “manipulator”, subverting the patriarchal ideal of the docile and submissive woman. To support the analysis, the research draws on the theory of gender studies by Joan Scott, a reference author in the area of gender analysis in history.

Social bubbles and hate speech on networks

The article examines social bubbles and hate speech on networks. Initially, it explores how social groups are essential for the formation of the individual and how the search for similarity leads to the rejection of differences, according to the psychoanalytic theory of "narcissism of small differences". The methodology consists of theoretical analysis of classic texts and academic articles on society, psychology, and group processes, aiming to understand the phenomenon of the formation of “social bubbles” and the production of hate speech by these groups present on digital social networks. The results indicate that excessive narcissism leads to isolation in homogeneous groups, refusing differences and generating hate speech as a defense mechanism, facilitated by the virtual environment that facilitates anonymity. It is concluded that these bubbles result from a psychic process of intolerance to the different, exacerbated by the dynamics of social networks.

State of knowledge in theses and dissertations about continuos education in Preschool Education

The objective of the present study is to present a state of knowledge on the topic of continuos education in preschool education, carried out in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology, from the year 2000, using the following descriptors: “continuous training”; “Early Childhood Education”, “teacher” and “teaching practice”. After the first movements, five studies remained, one thesis and four dissertations, which met the inclusion criteria: not having specificity in an area of knowledge; focusing on preeschool eeducation; address the discussion about pedagogical practice and continuous education; national research and written by teachers actively working in the classroom.
The analysis indicated the need for continuous education to build upon initialtraining, with a focus
on the training of preschool education teachers based ontheir pedagogical practices, aiming to
enhance their practices.

Globalization represents a complex set of processes in constant development and expansion, since the moment it began. This phenomenon encompasses the integration of sociospatial, economic and cultural relations on a global scale, promoting transformations in the social structure. This study seeks to explore the interconnections between risks and uncertainties in the context of globalization, based on the theories of Frank Furedi (2002, 2006) on the culture of fear and the theories of Ulrich Beck (2002, 2011) and Anthony Giddens (1991, 1998) on individualization, risk society and uncertainties of late modernity. Based on these authors, we seek to understand the social, political and cultural transformations, especially the ways in which socio-economic and environmental threats affect everyday life in contemporary society.
