The study area is located in the Bico do Papagaio microregion (05º39’04’’ S; 48º07’2’’ W). The survey took place between February 2019 and February 2020, through exploratory walks throughout the entire reserve area. The identification of the material was carried out with the help of specialized literature, following the APG IV classification system (2016). 141 species, 120 genera and 47 families were identified. Where 102 species had ethnobotanical use. The Fabaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Rubiaceae and Verbenaceae families were the most representative in the study with the largest number of species. The most representative categories were: medicinal, ornamental and food. Thus, the present study contributed to ethnobotanical knowledge and the ways of using the vegetation of the IFTO reserve, Bico do Papagaio.</p>2025-02-02T00:00:00-03:00Copyright (c) 2024
