https://cajapio.ufma.br/index.php/turismoecidades/article/view/22818

This research sought to identify and understand the resumption of post-pandemic tourism through service to international tourists at the Bahiacafé Hotel, located in Salvador-BA, between January and April 2022. The methodological path was through field observation, systematic review bibliography and questionnaire application, with 24 questions. The research results demonstrated that the identities blamed for the spread of the coronavirus didn’t come from the largest regions of contamination of the disease, they were already marginalized by the international community before the pandemic and indicates that tourist reception must assume the main role in the development of the sector, whether to guarantee the well-being of the visitor and encourage their possible return; whether to reduce the damage caused by xenophobia through quality reception. Therefore, reflections on the current tourist service system and more humanized training of new professionals in the hotel sector are seen as necessary.
Janine Santos de SousaNatália Silva Coimbra de SáCarla Oliveira Brito

https://cajapio.ufma.br/index.php/turismoecidades/article/view/22745

From the concept of smart cities, smart tourist destinations emerged, which brought changes in tourist activity, both on the part of consumers and the locality. Thus, responsive cities emerge, bringing a new form of management, with greater participation from residents, facilitated by technological innovations. The question then arises: How could responsive cities contribute to improving the experience of visitors? To this end, we intend to
evaluate the emergence of the debate on responsive cities in the existing literature and identify the objectives of the studies. As a methodology, a bibliographic review of the main concepts and a systematic review of the literature were carried out in two important databases to evaluate the quantity and quality of publications. As a result, few publications were found on responsive cities and even fewer on them and technologies in tourism. There was a research gap in studies that analyze responsive management and the increase in useful information for better planning of tourist activities in these locations.
Marília Ferreira Paes-CesárioMaria Valéria Pereira de Araújo

https://cajapio.ufma.br/index.php/turismoecidades/article/view/21284

The article presents the effect of insecurity on mobility from the one-dimensional city, oriented to the production of services and financial capital, whose main interest is not to solve the problem but to control the population to exercise dominance through the dynamics of differential value of rents. The research was based on the analysis of the one-dimensional city theory, from there data on mobility accidents related to space were collected in order to obtain the location of the phenomenon that unfolds in geopolitics of the different services, mainly financial, which settled in Mexico City.
Luis Alberto

https://cajapio.ufma.br/index.php/turismoecidades/article/view/22763

The research aimed at investigating the Furniture Center of Gravata (FCG), in Pernambuco, as a tourist attraction, considering the perceptions of two groups of subjects: visitors and local businesspeople. Thus, we sought to identify the main reasons that lead people to visit the Center, its capacity for customer loyalty and, also, recurring problems and possibilities for improvements. Therefore, a series of semi-structured interviews and direct observations were carried out with the subjects. The data and information collected were transcribed; then, coded and categorized through basic qualitative analysis. In summary, the results indicated that the main motivations for visiting the Center refer to the desire to get to know the attraction and/or to shop. Furthermore, people tend to return relatively frequently, so FCG has the capacity to retain visitors. Finally, among the problems and possibilities for improvements, infrastructural deficiencies were highlighted, with emphasis on those linked to accessibility aspects.
Eraldo Gomes de Souza JúniorSandro ValençaPoliana Nunes de SantanaItalo Cavalcante da Silva Soares

https://cajapio.ufma.br/index.php/turismoecidades/article/view/23241

Understanding Tourism and its relationship with Education is crucial given the changes in the National
Common Curricular Base Guidelines (BNCC). The guiding question of the investigation emerges from the above: How do concepts of tourism activity contribute to implementing the Tourism discipline in the new high school curriculum component? The objective is to verify Tourism's insertion as a discipline in Brazil's education through BNCC reformulation. Methodology included bibliographic research, content analysis using IRaMuTeq, and
questionnaires. Software execution confirms that words Theory, Concepts, Education, and Interdisciplinarity of Tourism are most used in the presented textual corpus. Based on interview responses, it is concluded that Tourism's inclusion as a discipline in Brazilian schools is in the acceptance process, recognized not only as an economic
activity but also as a means of instruction and education, contributing to professional development.
Leylane Meneses MartinsMarcia Maria Bezerra de SousaMauro Lemuel de Oliveira AlexandreCairo Cezar Braga de Sousa
