The methodological path was through field observation, systematic review bibliography and questionnaire application, with 24 questions. The research results demonstrated that the identities blamed for the spread of the coronavirus didn’t come from the largest regions of contamination of the disease, they were already marginalized by the international community before the pandemic and indicates that tourist reception must assume the main role in the development of the sector, whether to guarantee the well-being of the visitor and encourage their possible return; whether to reduce the damage caused by xenophobia through quality reception. Thus, responsive cities emerge, bringing a new form of management, with greater participation from residents, facilitated by technological innovations. The question then arises: How could responsive cities contribute to improving the experience of visitors? To this end, we intend to<br />evaluate the emergence of the debate on responsive cities in the existing literature and identify the objectives of the studies. As a methodology, a bibliographic review of the main concepts and a systematic review of the literature were carried out in two important databases to evaluate the quantity and quality of publications. As a result, few publications were found on responsive cities and even fewer on them and technologies in tourism. Thus, we sought to identify the main reasons that lead people to visit the Center, its capacity for customer loyalty and, also, recurring problems and possibilities for improvements. Therefore, a series of semi-structured interviews and direct observations were carried out with the subjects. The data and information collected were transcribed; then, coded and categorized through basic qualitative analysis. In summary, the results indicated that the main motivations for visiting the Center refer to the desire to get to know the attraction and/or to shop. Furthermore, people tend to return relatively frequently, so FCG has the capacity to retain visitors. The guiding question of the investigation emerges from the above: How do concepts of tourism activity contribute to implementing the Tourism discipline in the new high school curriculum component? The objective is to verify Tourism's insertion as a discipline in Brazil's education through BNCC reformulation. Methodology included bibliographic research, content analysis using IRaMuTeq, and<br />questionnaires. Software execution confirms that words Theory, Concepts, Education, and Interdisciplinarity of Tourism are most used in the presented textual corpus.
