Resumo

Some helminths were recovered from Bagre bagre (Linnaeus, 1766), Fowler, 1841, and Macrodon ancylodon (Bloch, 1801) Jordan, Evermann & Clark, 1930. The nematodes represent 3 genera and the cestode specimes are under Pterobothriidae and only larvae were obtainde what makes further diagnosis impossible. This is the firt note on helminths from sea fishes occuring in Maranhão State coast.
