This article analyzes the profile of the main political negotiators during the first year of Javier Milei’s administration in Argentina, and reconstructs the way in which his radical right-wing force built governability in a context of institutional weakness. It shows that atypical political elites, made up of outsiders, newcomers and “converts” deployed a dual strategy of discursive maximalism and political pragmatism to advance the presidential agenda in the heat of the crisis of the rest of the political parties.
