ENSAIO COMO TEXTO FILOSÓFICO: imagem, metáfora e silêncio

Resumo

O problema central que este trabalho pretende esclarecer pode ser colocado assim: que ferramentas o ensaio filosófico dispõe para dizer sobre a arte? Neste sentido, serão abordados três conceitos provenientes de três escritos ensaísticos: imagem, do mexicano Octavio Paz; metáfora, do espanhol José Ortega y Gasset; e silêncio, do argentino Santiago Kovadloff. A hipótese que será apresentada é a seguinte: para que se escreva sobre certos temas, como a arte em suas diversas manifestações, é preciso que haja um esforço que liberte a linguagem das correntes da funcionalidade.

ESSAY AS PHILOSOPHICAL TEXT: Image, Metaphor and Silence

ABSTRACT: The main subject that this work intends to make clear can be put as a question: what tools the philosophical essay dispose to tell about the art? This way, it will be approached three concepts that came from three written essays: image, from the Mexican Octavio Paz; metaphor, by the Spanish José Ortega y Gasset; and silence, by the Argentinean Santiago Kovadloff. The hypothesis that will be presented is that: to write about certain themes, as the art in its various manifestations, it is necessary that happen an effort that liberate the language from the chains of functionality.
