ANTROPOLOGIA E CINEMA: metodologias sensoriais de uma pesquisa interdisciplinar

Abstract

Antropologia e cinema constituem um amplo campo de reflexão interdisciplinar e de múltiplas aproximações quer pelas representações que constroem, quer pelo paralelismo de suas histórias. As mais relevantes aproximações são metodológicas e sobre a natureza das representações, isto é, a compreensão das relações entre a produção cinematográfica de uma sociedade e a vida social. Destacaremos a proximidade na construção do objeto/sujeito, a metodologia entre Flaherty e Malinowski, entre a montagem segundo Vertov e as fases da investigação antropológica ou mesmo das ciências sociais de forma mais geral, entre três planos na produção cinematográfica e na investigação antropológica, as consequências epistemológicas do advento do som direto no cinema, a antropologia e na sociologia, o advento das narrativas complexas multi-situadas e as formas exploratórias e experimentais do pós-cinema. São estas as questões que propomos abordar.

ANTHROPOLOGY AND CINEMA: sensory methodologies for interdisciplinary research

Abstract

Anthropology and film are a wide interdisciplinary field of reflection and multiple approaches, either by the representations build, or the parallelism of their stories. The most relevant approaches are methodological and about the nature of the representations, meaning, understanding the relationship between the film production of a society and social life. We will highlight the proximity in the construction of the object/subject, the methodological between Flaherty and Malinowski, between the setting in Vertov’s and the phases of anthropological research or even of the social sciences in a more general way, in three plans in film production and anthropological research, the epistemological consequences of the advent of direct sound in film and anthropology and sociology, the advent of the complex multi-located narratives and exploratory and experimental forms of post-film. These are the questions that we intend to address.
