Abstract

The objective of this article is to problematize the conceptions of family present in the social assistance policy, in the Executive Power, and in the Judiciary Power, regarding their decisions. It goals to analyze whether these processes reproduce inequalities, even though they aim to guarantee equality. To do so, a literature review and analysis of documents such as ordinances, judicial processes, among others, were carried out. The result showed that not only the social policy of the Executive Power, but also that of the Judiciary Power, reproduces familism and social inequalities of class, gender, and ethnic-racial.
