This text presents the review of the book Conto para uma só voz, published by Nós in 2020, that brings tragic experiences from day to day under the keen eye of João Anzanello Carrascoza. This book was written in a literary residency that the author did at Sangam House, in India and brings together a delicate story, which deals with the painful experience, discoveries and learning of the human being. It is the pain / love of a father who loses
his child. With a fluid and poetic language and through subjective and intimate experiences, Carrascoza's prose is presented in verse and makes it possible for the reader to walk into his own existence and to look closely at forgotten questions.
