Abstract

In 2019, a serie of events in Brazil remembered Rosa Luxemburg, brutally murdered in Berlin on January 15th, 1919. In this text, the aim is to show the relevance of the ideas of the Jewish-Polish revolutionary, developing basically three topics: her idea of democratic socialism; her critique of imperialism / capitalism; how her connection with nature makes her a precursor of eco-socialism.
