Abstract

Preliminary study about the phenomenon of class consciousness of the proletariat from the Marxist contributions of class struggle and class consciousness, understanding the proletariat as a being that suffers capitalist oppression at different
levels, in the reality of alienated work. In addition to understanding and explaining the phenomena in the domain of the social being, conscious and engaged action is needed in the world to be transformed. Analysis of class consciousness and the need for self-management from a democratic perspective, at the time of expansion of work relations mediated by apps, a situation that makes it difficult for workers to organize. The discussions are based on bibliographical and documentary research, with secondary data from the ILO databases.
