Abstract

The research analyzes the role of social participation, capable of providing greater popular participation in
decision-making about the direction of public resources. The problem resides in the fact that at the federal level there was never the implementation of the participatory budget within the scope of the PPA. This fact changed with the democratic resumption that Brazil has been experiencing with the current Brazilian government that implemented the participatory PPA for the period from 2024 to 2027. Within this context, the article aimed to analyze the new perspectives from the adoption of the Participatory Pluriannual Plan, analyzing the digital platform that will be used so that society can participate, proposing new directions. At the methodological level, the hypothetical-deductive method was used, with bibliographical and documental research, through a qualitative approach.
