Abstract

The article presents the demands and challenges of violence against children and adolescents during the Covid19 pandemic in the Brazilian scenario and the repercussions for the work of the social worker, based on exploratory, qualitative, bibliographical, and empirical research. The results indicate that social isolation contributed to the concealment of
intrafamily violence, that new challenges have arisen for the work of the social worker, especially about access to information technologies, and the imperative strengthening of social policies in guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents.
