Abstract

The article aims to present reflections on the exploitation of teaching work in higher education, analyzing the facets of precariousness and the deprivation of pedagogical autonomy in the light of the Marxist debate on 'objectification'. Through
bibliographical and documentary research, the investigation covered the phenomenon of job insecurity in both public and private institutions, pointing out its facets, such as the lowering of salaries, the precariousness of work contracts, the
platformization of work through the use of digital technologies, the refunctionalization of the university, devaluation, pedagogical curtailment and threats to life. It is understood that the combined actions of the ultra-liberal and ultraconservative fronts represent a frontal attack on the right to education in Brazil.
