School gardens bring together different knowledge and provide educational practices that enable students to immerse themselves in their social and environmental environment. The objective of this article is to analyze how the educational practice of the Jardim Orgânico project of the Colégio de Aplicação of the Universidade Federal de Sergipe was implemented through interdisciplinarity, using a qualitative approach with data from testimonies provided by a focus group, which were analyzed according to Bardin (2011). The results showed that, although there was integration of disciplines during project actions, it is necessary to focus on the appreciation of nature and encourage the conservation of biodiversity while respecting its limits.
