Abstract

This text seeks to present, in a introductory way, a discussion about contemporary public policies, assuming as a presupposition of analysis that their effectiveness takes place in the daily life of subaltern social classes and are shaped by conservative traits. We understand that it's in everyday life that, in historically and socially determined conditions, social relations between subjects and, therefore, between classes are objectified - between subalterns, constituted social groups that are subject to forms of political and social direction imposed by dominant classes. This struggle is expressed in everyday life, which is loaded with historical and social determinations, a space for the conquest of hegemony, of a certain group over another, where the established order is built and consolidated, but also where it is resisted.
