Abstract

The purpose of the article is to expose some existing links between fascism and liberalism. Therefore, through theoretical bibliographical research the first two sections of the text will challenge, respectively, the current views of fascism as essentially anti-liberal, and of neoliberalism as essentially anti-state. In the first case, based mainly on the work of João Bernardo (2018), propositions and measures by Hitler and Mussolini will be taken as a basis. In the second, attention will turn to Mises, Hayek and Friedman, with emphasis on the relationship between the two the latter and the Pinochet dictatorship, based especially on Chamayou (2020). In the third session, the persistence of Nazi management techniques
and principles in the contemporary business world will be indicated, with references to the study by Chapoutot (2020). Through this triple argument, it is intended to corroborate the understanding that neo-fascism and neoliberalism are expressions of the dynamics of social reproduction under the aegis of capital.
