O MARANHÃO NOS TRILHOS DO AVANÇO?: um estudo das transformações espaço-temporais da indústria maranhense na sociedade capitalista do tempo flexível

Resumo

Estudo sobre as transformações espaço-temporais da indústria no Maranhão a partir do seu contexto de "pós" reestruturação produtiva desencadeada por volta de 2000 até o início de 2009. Buscou-se descobrir de que estratégias vem se utilizando a indústria para cooptar e controlar o tempo dos seus funcionários. Analisando as condições de trabalho e de exploração da força obrera identificou-se que a reestruturação produtiva intensificou o controle do capital sobre o labor, fato que ocasionou uma total apropriação deste tempo laboral pelo capital o qual passa a interferir até no natural processo de envelhecimento. Conclui-se que a expansão do capitalismo no Maranhão está intrínseca e historicamente ligada ao campo e mais diretamente com a agricultura, primeiramente com o algodão e atualmente com a soja. Uma relação que sempre beneficiou os latifúndios, a agroexportação, a impunidade e a violência e que se expressa nos conflitos agrários que provocam a expulsão dos trabalhadores de suas terras e o "inchaço" das cidades.

Abstract

Study on the transformations of the industry in Maranhão from the context "post" productive restructuring was unleashed around the year 2000 until the beginning of 2009. Thus, this research sought to discover which strategies the industry is using to control their employees time. This way they examined the social and historical determinations in the process of time worked and flexible financial time. Analyzing the conditions of work and exploitation of the workforce has identified that the productive restructuring has intensified the control of economy over the work, this fact has caused a total ownership of the time in work in which the economy interferes in the natural process of aging. It was considered that the expansion of capitalism in Maranhão is intrinsic and is historically linked to the countryside and directly with agriculture, first with cotton and now currently with soy. A relationship that has always benefited the agronomy, and agro exportation, the impunity and violence expressed in agrarian conflicts that cause the expulsion of workers of their land and the "swelling" of cities.
