Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to analyze the LGBTQIAPN+ social movement in Brazil. The acronym covers people who are Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Pan, Non-binary and more, i.e. it intends to include everyone who escapes hetero and cis normativity, in this way we intend to use the concept of intersectionality that deals with the interaction of the various types of violence that afflict mainly people socially highlighted by the social markers of gender, race, class and sexuality, in which such violence can be practiced verbally, physically, psychologically and morally. Regarding the research methodology, it was descriptive, carried out through a bibliographic survey on the subject. Thus, the work was theoretically based on authors such as Luiz Mott (2018), Ronaldo Trindade (2018), Ana Cristina Conceição Santos (2018). Taking into account the data collected by the Observatory of LGBTI+ Deaths and Violence in Brazil, it can be seen that despite the fluctuations in numbers, the general panorama of violence against the LGBTQIAPN+ community continues to be alarming. We conclude that it is essential to combat all forms of violence against the LGBTQIAPN+ community, and that it is everyone's responsibility, including the legislative and executive branches, to seek equality so that we can build spaces in a world based on respect and inclusion.
